From Dairy Roots to Cheese Factory

How a Dutch-Indonesian partnership built a modern cheese factory from the ground up

After a thorough due diligence process  assessing supply chain integrity, food safety protocols, and long-term viability  we decided to acquire and transform the facility.

Under the direction of Humphry van Hesse from Birckhoven Advies, a complete technical and operational review was carried out: from production flow to quality assurance, logistics, and compliance.

The conclusion was clear  to reach international standards, everything from floor to ceiling needed a fresh start.

The renovation began with removing outdated tanks, walls, and flooring to prepare for a tenfold capacity expansion and compliance with IFS and HACCP.

Sustainable water supply, energy systems, and improved milk sourcing were introduced step by step always with an eye on scalability and long-term growth.

Building teams, trust, and trade

While construction advanced, our commercial arm took shape. A dedicated sales and marketing team developed new market channels for both locally produced cheeses and imported European specialties through our long-term partner Kaandorp Cheese in the Netherlands.

The result?
A growing network of loyal clients across Indonesia  already enjoying premium cheeses produced under our brand  and a strong operational backbone ready for expansion.

Behind the scenes, a skilled management and operations team ensures that every batch, whether locally produced or imported, meets the same standards of consistency, flavor, and trust.

Transformation never happens without challenges. Regulations, infrastructure, and cross-cultural dynamics required perseverance and flexibility.

But today, with the first cheeses being delivered, we’ve proven that ambition, discipline, and collaboration can turn a complex start into a credible operation.

The result is more than a dairy plant  it’s a model of international cooperation, blending Dutch precision with Indonesian drive.
